If you have found something wrong

Tell us. The credibility of a reference site is the only thing it has, and we would rather hear it from you than leave it up.

Point us at the page and, if you can, the source you think we have misread. We will check it against the legislation or guidance, correct it if we are wrong, and add a note saying what changed and when. If we think we are right, we will explain why rather than ignore you.

If you need help with a building

This site explains the law. It cannot tell you where your building stands, because that depends on evidence nobody can assess from a web page.

Elevate works with principal accountable persons, resident management companies, managing agents, contractors and product manufacturers on safety case regimes, the gateway process, the golden thread, competence systems, leaseholder and landlord certification, and Building Safety Act training. If that is what you need, say what you are dealing with and we will tell you plainly whether it is something we can help with.

Two things worth knowing before you write. We take no referral fees from any platform, contractor or supplier, so nothing we suggest is because someone pays us to suggest it. And if the answer to your question is that you do not need a consultant, that is what you will be told.
